Customer Experience Designer for the MOJ - Description:

We are looking for several Customer Experience Designers to join a high profile MOJ project.  Customer Experience Designers should be able to Demonstrate expertise designing interactions professionally for the web and mobile. Have solid experience of web and mobile application interface design. Core skills: sketching, design production, hand-coded HTML & CSS, rapid prototyping.

The Customer experience designer should have experience working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and the ability to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team.Have proven experience in rapid, iterative low and high fidelity prototyping/ wireframing. Be comfortable eliciting and defining business/user process flows and requirements. Be able to generate concepts, ideas and user journeys. Understand that usability is only part of the equation. Continue to evolve the practice of design thinking. Maintain a real knowledge of emerging digital trends.

Essential Criteria • Confident and skilled facilitator who will champion a collaborative approach to the design process • Expert ability to design solutions which meet user needs across a variety of channels • Ability to design digital and non-digital interactions are part of a broader end-to-end service • Ability to analyse the root cause of problems and frame the design around these • Ability to clearly communicate information (both verbally and visually) to project teams, Service Managers and senior stakeholders • Ability to develop low fidelity prototypes • Ability to work in a complex stakeholder environment • Experience of working in agile teams • It is expected that this role will involve some level of knowledge transfer or mentoring for HMCTS employees Desirable • Experience of working in the Public Sector • Experience of working with content • Experience of working with accessibility needs.
