Our Client is a leading central government body seeking a Security Cleared Identity Access Management Engineer for an intial 3 mnoth contract based in manchester.

Salary: 450/60 per day to candidate
Contract Length: min 3 months initially

IR35: The Contracting Authorith  has deemed this role inside IR35
Security Clearance: SC (Security Clearance) : or be able and willing to under go : preference given to SC candidates however 

Must have MS access directory - Windows 2012 and above
Someone who can look at the migration from one platform to another 
Project management experience : but more on the technical side 
Upgrade experience - a bonus 
Knowledge of MS certificate : Ideally implemented a full build or/ and upgrade internally
Upgrading the current MS certificate to 2016 : looking at docs, they have a partial build already 

The Identity Access Management capability is part of the Department’s Security Operations Team. 
Working to the IDAM Technical Lead, the IDAM team take joint operational responsibility for the Department’s Identity Access Management and Crypto Key Management infrastructure, applying security protocols to central IDAM applications and systems whilst maintaining a management relationship to first, second and third line support teams. 
The team’s responsibilities are supporting the Departments Identity and Access Governance technologies including Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Federation Services (ADFS), Password Management, Privileged Account Management and Access Recertification.

Building and enhancing IDAM solutions that integrate applications and other enterprise and security services with IDAM services, providing technical support and operation of IDAM environments for first line, second line and IT support management teams. 

Integrating new and existing policies and technical controls for user authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) for enterprise applications, developing all technical requirements for policies, procedures, and standards for provisioning new user accounts and resolving permission-related issues. 

Ensuring IDAM services perform according to defined procedures/standards and ensure SLAs are met, providing oversight and support of all IDAM lifecycle activities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic recertification activities and processes. 

Guiding and performing access data clean-up; implementing and overseeing effective access data maintenance practices, account certification and effectively collaborate with, and act as a liaison to, multiple and diverse business groups and technologies.
