Our client is a leading Government Body currently seeking a Digital UX Designer for an initial 6 month contract (Possible extensions) to join the Central Digital/Transformed Department - 

Based in London

The Transformed Department team in Central Digital designs, delivers and supports digital services that improve working life. Current services include the intranet, correspondence tool, and the cross-agency people directory, People Finder. We also provide consultancy to directorates seeking to develop their own digital solutions and are currently prioritising a new roadmap of work to begin January 2019 that may include:

  • security vetting and security pass application processes
  • learning and development offering and awareness
  • management and response to offender subject access requests
  • enabling access to our people directory for several ALBs
  • replacing and designing wide HR systems

Expectations for the role:

  • Working across multiple channels, devices, browsers and platforms to ensure that digital products adhere to established patterns and standards
  • Understand the bigger picture as well as the fine detail
  • Experience of sketching and prototyping in code as well
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with stakeholders
