Location: Remote

IR35: Inside

Rate: £800/day (umbrella)

Duration: 6 Months

The Role:

As a MI Data Lead, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Set tasks and prioritise staff workload within the team
  • Engage stakeholders to define and agree the reporting requirements
  • In response to user needs design new dashboards and reports, and updates to existing dashboards and reports, to satisfy user MI requirements
  • Lead engagement with external stakeholders to ensure correct and consistent reporting in line with National and Portfolio reporting needs
  • Understand, challenge and support design of data flows within complex IT systems to ensure that reporting needs can be satisfied
  • Lead engagement with external suppliers as necessary to change existing reporting mechanisms and processes, and create new reporting processes according to end user needs
  • Provide regular verbal and written updates on MI reporting status to the Programme management and other senior stakeholders
  • Lead the strategy for MI reporting and make recommendations to senior management
  • Review MI reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and completion

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload of junior staff
  • Ideally (but not essential) experience of building bespoke reports with PowerBI or similar business intelligence software
