Role: Records Manager
Location: Manchester (2/3 days/week on site)
IR35: Inside
Rate: £500/day (Umbrella) MAX
Duration: 6 Months (Potential extension)
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for NPPV (minimum 3 years work/residence in the UK )
Minimum Requirement:
• Records Management background
• SharePoint Online experience.
• Document lifecycle management experience.
• Experience of managing large scale projects
We’re looking for someone with a specific records management background in order to lead in the technical design of a SharePoint Online solution. Someone who has practical experience of setting up both document libraries and records libraries in SharePoint Online, and/or theoretical records management or archiving expertise so they can interpret our retention and disposal schedules/policies and apply them practically in the SharePoint environment to make sure our new system complies with records management standards. Specialist knowledge of naming conventions and access controls would also be useful.
Candidates should have practical experience in setting up SharePoint Online for first time use and experience in migrating records from network file shares and on-premise SharePoint sites.
Essential experience/skills:
• Eligible for NPPV 3
• Has lived and worked in UK continuously for at least the last 3 years.
• Resides in Greater Manchester/Northwest
• Records Management experience
• practical experience of setting up both document libraries and records libraries in SharePoint Online, and/or theoretical records management or archiving expertise
• practical experience in setting up SharePoint Online for first time use
• experience in migrating records from network file shares and on-premises SharePoint sites.
• Experienced, knowledgeable in the selection, development, and implementation Records Management system
• Exploring and identifying any opportunities that will allow officers to better serve the citizens of Greater Manchester
• Report writing
• Ability to liaise with various internal and external business areas
• Good communication skills
• Stakeholder Management (including updates to Project Manager
• As this role is managing 250tb of data need to have worked on/managed large scale projects
• Information/data governance
Desirable
• Specialist knowledge of naming conventions and access controls would also be useful.
• Experience of Sharegate.
• Experience of working Policing / Public Sector.
• Experience and knowledge of Business / Data Analysis.
