We are working with the Home Office to secure a Transformation manager.
The main responsibilities for the role are: Analysing and interpreting multiple sources of information and pulling them together to form comprehensive transformation strategies. Ensuring, through effective communication Digital Strategy objectives are adopted to make digital as their main service and information delivery channel. To think differently about digital service delivery by advocating user focused agile, iterative design. Promoting the use of low cost technology where possible and showcasing the benefits of working with partners and suppliers.
Brief Description of the programme of work: The Home Office is undergoing a transformation programme across its Live Services Operation The Programme Manager, reporting into the Head of Transformation, will help define one of the Live Services programmes delivery structure and strategy. They will mobilise and build the required programme capability, plan, costs and resource throughout the programme execution. They will provide leadership to the new and in-flight projects and engage with key stakeholders and ensure progress and management of suppliers and subcontractors.
1. Prior experience of Transforming a Live Service or IT Operations function, 2. Significant and demonstrable programme IT transformation delivery in excess of £10m 3. Experience of working in a challenging and complex public sector environment 4. Excellent communications skills with the ability to translate and understand complex business requirements 5. Qualifications and experience in implementing ITIL 6. RAID 7. Delivery against reporting schedule and governance structure 8. environment certified to ISO 20000 standards 9.Experience in system architecture
