Our client is a lead central government body seeking a Senior/Lead Digital Delevery Manager for an initial 3 month contract based in Nottingham

Minimum Experience: Central Government Experience (ideally DVSA or DVLA), Digital, Agile, Leading Scrum Teams.

Proven experience using agile project and delivery management methods to deliver successful digital projects and products.
Proven ability to lead and develop a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary, digital development team and evangelise Agile principles and a dev/ops culture.
Sound understanding of the fundamentals of iterative software development and incremental delivery approach : user stories, ATD, TDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing.
Excellent knowledge of modern digital technologies and technical architectures, including open source and open standards.
Experience of delivering in line with the Digital by Default service standard.
Awareness of cloud-based delivery.
Responsible for multiple Agile teams, each led by a Scrum Master. 
Responsible for management of 3rd party delivery resource as needed.
Responsible for justifying and managing spend with third parties.
Demonstrate leadership by providing influence, direction and guidance to staff to support the delivery of objectives. Establishes a strong direction and a persuasive future vision; managing and engaging with honesty and integrity, and upholding the reputation of the Agency, Department and Civil Service.
Work in collaboration with fellow CSLs across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
